Review: Last week we covered chapter 1 where Paul gave the Galatian churches his calling and credentials to set up the rest of his letter to them as authoritative. He denounces the “other gospel” that they have so quickly turned to and wishes a curse on anyone or anything that would preach something other than justification by faith alone in Christ alone.
This letter was written to address the controversy within the Galatian churches regarding the requirement of Jewish law for Gentile converts. It is also seen as a defense of Paul’s apostolic authority and a teaching on justification by faith alone, not by works of the law.

Review: Last week we covered chapters 8 and 9 of which Solomon speaks in parables about different things he has observed in life. He makes comments on wisdom, authority, how the righteous and wicked in life seemingly get the opposite of what we think they deserve, the sovereignty of God, and the day of death.
